Allāhumma ʿāfinī fī badanī, Allāhumma ʿāfinī fī samʿī, Allāhumma ʿāfinī fī baṣarī

English meaning

O Allah, grant me wellbeing in my body, in my hearing, and in my sight.

When to recite

Recite this dua of ʻAbd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakra after Fajr and Maghrib for protection over your hearing, sight and bodily health throughout pregnancy. It asks Allah to keep your faculties sound — a reminder that pregnancy changes the body, and that wellbeing is a gift to be asked for, not assumed. Pair it with your daily prenatal vitamins as a small spiritual ritual.
